"ONE OF THE GREAT AGONIES OF LIFE IS THAT WE ARE CONSTANTLY TRYING TO FINISH THAT WHICH IS UNFINISHABLE" - Martin Luther King Jnr.

Towards the end of his life, King declared: "I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the Promised Land. If I can help somebody as I pass along, if I can cheer somebody with a word or song, if I can show somebody he’s travelling wrong, then my living will not be in vain".

1. After satisfying our conscience that the best has been done, we'll have the inner joy to gladly leave the rest.

2. The purpose of life is to make it as meaningful as we want it to be in our own special way, by being a light and beacon of hope to others.

3. Life happens. It's futile and worrisome to try to finish what can't be finished, but those who have seen the light will continue the process from where we left.
